Moisturising spirulina face mask


This beauty mask can be made up from basic kitchen ingredients in a matter of moments. The spirulina will help soothe any angry, tired or sore skin, especially if you make it with fridge cold yoghurt.

Simply add 1/2 sachet of spirulina powder to a tablespoon of plain yoghurt, 1/4 teaspoon of honey and a 1/4 teaspoon of olive oil. Finally, add in 2-3 drops of lemon or lime juice. Mix these up into a paste and apply to your face and neck, leaving it on for up to twenty minutes. Dry skin will benefit from this treatment a couple of times a week, oilier skins more often.
